MediaTek Shares Soar 10% After Blockbuster Nvidia Investment

Shares of MediaTek Inc. soared after the Taiwanese chipmaker scored a $3.5 billion outlay from Nvidia Corp., the American chipmaking giant’s largest ever direct investment outside the US.
